Faculty and School Welcome
When: 10:00 am - 5:00pm

Where: Eastern Avenue Auditorium
In this session, you will first hear from the Associate Dean of Student Life and a panel of society representatives who will give advices on making the most of your uni experience and how to build up your social connections.
The Director of Professional Engagement and a panel of current students and industry speakers will then share their experience in different professional engagement programs at the faculty, and how they have become industrial professionals from being an engineering students.
Each school will also be hosting their own welcome session. Attend the event for your school and get the information you need to succeed in your studies!
We have organised a peer mentoring program for your upcoming semester. Sign up for the program to start making new friends! You will meet your mentor and group, participate in activities, and have lunch together. The program continues for the first eight weeks of the semester and you will attend social events, workshops and continue to receive informal mentoring. Registration is essential to join the program so you can be matched with a senior Student Mentor.

Got a question? Need academic advices? Come to this session and ask lectures, first year coordinators, and professional staff experts any questions regarding enrolment, unit of study selection, and coursework!
Lab Zero Student IT & Systems Workshop
When: 4:00pm – 5:00pm
Where: PNR Learning Studio 315
New to the university systems and need some help with setting up? Come to this workshop where our student experts will help you log into your email, Canvas Learning Management System, Sydney Students and more. They will also be on hand to any other IT-related questions! Please bring along your devices so that staff can help you set up your system at the workshop.
