Welcome to the Faculty of Engineering! In order to help you settle into university life, we have organised a list of sessions where you get the top tips from staff and current students.

Faculty Welcome and Degree Talks

When: 09:00am - 12pm

Where: PNR Building

In this session, you will first hear from the Associate Dean of Student Life, staff from the Student Services team, SUPRA, the Library and the Learning Centre. You will get to know more about the Faculty and understand the support available at the university.

Each stream will also be hosting their own Welcome session. Come along to the welcome for your stream to receive important information of your new course and connect with key academic staff!

Individual Academic Advice

When: 11:00 – 12:00pm

Where: PNR Learning Studio 310

Got a question? Need academic advices? Come to this session and ask lectures, first year coordinators, and professional staff experts any questions regarding enrolment, unit of study selection, and coursework!

PG Mentoring Program

When: 12:00pm – 1:00pm

Where: PNR Learning Studio 311

Sign up for the peer mentoring program for your upcoming semester! You will meet your mentor and group, participate in activities, and have lunch together. The program continues for the first eight weeks of the semester and you will attend social events, workshops and continue to receive informal mentoring. Registration is essential to join the program so you can be matched with a senior Student Mentor.
