On-campus Orientation and Information Program
If you are interested in attending some of the School of Public Health’s Orientation and Information sessions in person, you will be able to attend by registering for sessions held at the School in the Edward Ford building. Information about how to register is available in early January 2020 via the link you will find in the attached schedule. NB: You must register by Friday 14 February 2020 in order to secure your place for the sessions.
Welcome Program Training Sessions (Wednesday 19 February – Thursday 20 February 2020)
Training and information sessions covering Assignments, Extensions and Academic Honesty and Being a Student at the Sydney School of Public Health are offered to new students, as small group sessions repeated twice across on Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning (see timetable on next page). Sessions in Learning online, Literature Searching, and Using the library will be offered in online format on the Student Support site in Canvas. This site will be available from 10th February for new students to access.
These sessions are all recommended but not compulsory (eg. if you have studied here before and are a confident Library user or online learner and have experience with ‘Canvas’, you may not need to access the online learning or Library sessions.
If you would like to attend the on-campus Orientation and Information sessions you MUST register before-hand (see link on the attached schedule) by Friday 14 February.
