Sydney Law School has organised a series of welcome sessions, which will run over two days and provide commencing students with an introduction to the study of Law at the University of Sydney.
Day 1 - Introduction to Academic Standards and University Services

All commencing students are invited to attend. Attendance is compulsory for international students.
After a formal welcome to the program, this session will provide students with an overview of university services and important information relating to their studies at Sydney Law School. The day will cover:
Day 2 - Introduction to the Australian Legal System

All commencing students who do not have a law degree from a common law jurisdiction are invited to attend. Attendance is compulsory for international students.
This session aims to provide insight into the Australian legal system as well as common law and legal method in Australia.
